Work Based Diplomas in Horticulture prepare learners for jobs such as:

The qualification is unit based which allows learners and employers a
choice of 50 units, such as:
- Constructing fences & hard surfaces
- Maintaining amenity turf
- Planting
- Pruning
- Using & maintaining machinery
- Health & safety
- Developing decorative amenity areas
- Propagation
- Tractor operation
- Creating water features
- Developing personal performanc

- Chainsaw maintenance
- Safe manual handing & Risk assessment
- First aid certificate
- PA1/PA6 Pesticide application
